MISSIONS
For questions about Missions contact David@OurSaviors.org. Bob & Nancy Haussler Bob & Nancy Haussler are missionaries in Wycliffe Bible Translators Maritime Ministry in the Solomon Islands. Bob is the Deputy Director for SITAG (Solomon Islands Translation Advisory Group) based in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Planning, oversight and administration of SITAG work and staff; assist in liaison for government relations; assure adequate staffing and performance of duties; acquire needed equipment and assure it's properly maintained. Work with Director and fill in as needed. Assure field teams are adequately trained and help them plan and schedule their work and travel needs. Nancy is involved in Member Care; Assess and respond to requests from various teams related to village housing, travel needs, family needs (such as child education, addressing health needs, Bible studies and encouragement, equipment, food and other resources, etc.). Bob & Nancy assist teams in the field with their sailboat SWAN. |
