Kids Care at Our Savior's Palm Springs provides care for infants and toddlers (through age 3) during our worship service. Our goal is to share the love of Jesus with children and to make their first church visits positive.
What to Expect Beginning January 2018
Our Kids rooms are designed to provide safe activities for infants and toddlers. We have a loving, caring staff committed to providing a great experience for your child.
Kids LINK helps kids ages 3 years old-5th grade grow in their faith by learning about Jesus and His love for them through God’s big story: the Bible. God’s big story from the past is in the Bible, but it’s still happening all around us today! We’re all a part of the God’s continuing story.
What to Expect at Our Savior's Palm Springs
- 3 year olds-3rd grade experience the Bible story through large group teaching, then move to their small group where they can ask questions, work through activities, and build relationships.
- 4th-5th grade dig deep into Bible history stories in a small group setting with time set aside during the year for activities made to both review lessons and build relationships.
Kids LINK meets September-May during the message time.
Mrs. Anna moved to the Coachella Valley 34 years ago when she and her husband Tom were married at Our Savior’s. Anna has been serving at Our Savior’s ever since. Anna has two kids, twins Brian and Kirsten, now 26 years old. Anna works for the Palm Springs Public Library. She loves all animals especially cats and horses, like to do crafting and gardening. One of my first Christian memories was a Sunday School teacher I had in Chicago who was always smiling.
- Your child’s safety is important to us. At check-in, your family is assigned a code printed on your child’s name tag and a corresponding security tag that you keep.
- For your peace of mind, all of our volunteers have been trained and screened and are ready to care for your child.
We ask that you keep your infant/toddler at home with any of the following symptoms and/or illnesses:
- Fever greater than 101.5
- Runny nose
- Questionable rashes
- Active Chickenpox
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the drug for at least 24 hours before coming to Kids Care.
If your infant/toddler has a continually clear-runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know at check-in. We realize that some symptoms hang on long after the child is no longer contagious. Remember, we want all of our infants/toddlers to remain healthy and happy.
